Churches for Horley Food Bank is a non-profit making organisation run by volunteers and relies entirely on donations of food and money from local schools, churches, businesses, organisations and individuals and every single item or penny given makes a difference.
We offer free emergency food and basic toiletries to those in crisis and will help them as part of a package of support being offered by local agencies such as CAB, probation services, children’s centres, health visitors, doctors’ surgeries, social services, housing trusts, the police and local schools. Whatever your situation, we offer a warm welcome, sign posting and a listening ear.
People living in Horley and the local area can access the Food Bank by referral from local agencies. Once the referral is made the client can access the Food Bank once a week during the referral period and will receive essential items depending on the number of people in their family.
Food parcels can be picked up from our base at Horley Methodist Church during two sessions per week:
Wednesday - 12.30 to 2.30pm (collection and donations)
Friday - 2.00 to 4.00pm (collection and donations)
Saturday - 11am to 12pm (donations only)
